NFL tight end Brock Bowers is not the only athlete in his family; his only sister, Brianna Bowers, is involved in softball and basketball.

In the recent match against the New England Patriots, Brock sustained a knee injury late in the third quarter.

Due to this, fans thought Brock might take a break in Week 2; however, the Raiders have confirmed that he will be active in the upcoming game.

Raiders Tight End Brock Bowers Comes From a Family of Athletes, With a Sister and Mother in Softball!

Brianna Bowers, an older sister of tight end Brock Bowers, is a talented athlete in her own right, having played softball at Sacramento State University.

She graduated from Napa High School in 2018, where she was a two-time All-State outfielder and a four-time All-Monticello Empire League selection.

In 2017, she was named Player of the Year on The Napa Valley Register’s All-Napa County team after leading her high school team to its first-ever Sac-Joaquin Division II Section championship.

While many personal details about her are not disclosed, professionally, she appears to be a well-known figure in Sacramento, where she is often featured on local social media, receiving birthday wishes and recognition for her achievements.

As mentioned earlier, Brock is not the only one in sports; not just her sister, but also his parents are involved in the athletic background.

Their mother, DeAnna Earsley-Bowers, was an All-American softball pitcher at the University of Utah.

She enjoyed a stellar collegiate career, earning recognition for her outstanding performance on the field, and was later inducted into Utah State’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

On the other hand, their father, Warren Bowers, also has a strong sports background, having played football at Utah State University.

Growing up in Napa, California, with an athletic family background, both Brock and Brianna received strong support and guidance from their parents, which helped them succeed in sports.

In Case You Don’t Know

  • Even before joining the NFL, Brock was recognized as one of the top tight end prospects in college football.
  • Both Brock and Brianna have faced injuries in their careers. Brianna missed much of her 2020–2021 softball season, and Brock recovered from knee injuries.
