Johnny Gaudreau, an American professional ice hockey winger, married his wife, Meredith Morris, in 2021, and they are parents to two children, Noa Harper Gaudreau and Johnny Edward Gaudreau.
Gaudreau, born on August 13, 1993, in Salem, New Jersey, started his hockey career with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL and was named Rookie of the Year for the 2010-11 season.
After being drafted by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL draft, he had an outstanding college career at Boston College.

Gaudreau seamlessly moved to professional hockey, scoring on his first NHL shot in his debut game with the Flames.
His rookie year was remarkable, marked by his high scoring, selection for the NHL All-Star Game, and inclusion in the NHL All-Rookie Team.
By the 2017-2018 season, he set career highs in assists and points, earning another All-Star selection and the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for his sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct.
His career peaked in the 2021-22 season, scoring 115 points and leading the Flames, establishing himself as one of the NHL’s top players.

They met in New Jersey in 2018 during the NHL offseason.

In September 2020, Johnny proposed at the Avalon Jetty in New Jersey, marking a significant step in their relationship.
They welcomed their first child, Noa Harper Gaudreau, on September 30, 2022, and their second, Johnny Edward Gaudreau, on February 22, 2024.
On September 9, 2024, Meredith, now a widow following Johnny’s tragic d*ath, announced her pregnancy with their third child.

Meredith was born in 1992 in Pennsylvania, the second of six children to real estate developer Ed Morris and Cheryl Morris.
She grew up with her siblings: two brothers, Eddie and Matthew, and three sisters, Lily, Tylor, and Meredith.
After graduating from the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in 2010, Meredith pursued a bachelor’s degree in nursing at James Madison University, completing her studies in 2015.
She furthered her education with a master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing from Drexel University, graduating in 2020.
As of now, she has been working as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
