Second WCW Triple Crown Champion Lex Luger was married to Peggy Fulbright for over two decades, and they have two children together: Brian and Lauren Ashley.

Lex Luger, born Lawrence Wendell Pfohl on June 2, 1958, is a retired professional wrestler, bodybuilder, and football player.

He had a notable career in wrestling, holding titles such as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion and the NWA/WCW United States Heavyweight Champion

Before his wrestling career, he played professional football for teams such as the Montreal Alouettes, Green Bay Packers, and Tampa Bay Bandits.

Retired Professional Westler’s Wife Peggy Reportedly Works As A Real Estate Agent!

Lex Luger married Peggy Fulbright in 1981. Although the whereabouts of their initial meetings are under the rock, they spent 24 years of marital life.

The couple had two children: Brian, born on January 1, 1986, and Lauren Ashley, born on September 24, 1990.

Together, they aimed to maintain a stable family life, but their relationship strained over time. This led to their separation and eventual divorce in 2003.

However, the reason for their divorce wasn’t publicly discussed, but it is known that Lex’s life during that time was tumultuous.

He struggled with legal issues and substance abuse, which significantly impacted his personal and professional life.

Some sources claimed that his issues with drugs and alcohol were significant factors that contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.

On the other hand, Peggy has kept a low public profile. She worked as a real estate agent and reportedly lives in the Atlanta area in current days.

Now, regarding their children, Brian made a name for himself in athletics as a basketball player at Mercer University.

His sister, Lauren Ashley, showcased her talents in the pool as a swimmer at Tulane University.

Both siblings inherited their parents’ athletic prowess and have pursued their own paths.

Miss Elizabeth’s Untimely Death Deeply Affected Luger’s Life And Career!

After his divorce, Luger began a relationship with Elizabeth Hulette, famously known as Miss Elizabeth. They started dating while both were working in WCW in the late 1990s.

Both were married to their respective partner, as Elizabeth was married to Randy Savage then. This added another complex layer to their relationship.

After their divorces, they continued their relationship, but they never got married again.

However, their romantic involvement was tumultuous and characterized by severe issues involving substance abuse and domestic violence.

Tragically, Miss Elizabeth passed away on May 1, 2003, due to acute toxicity from a combination of painkillers and alcohol.

The circumstances of her death led to legal and personal turmoil for Luger.

He faced charges of drug possession and was deeply affected by the loss of Elizabeth. In the following year, he also faced several other health challenges.

He has openly discussed the challenges and regrets he faced during and after their time together, saying:

I take a lot of responsibility for my influence in her life. Her little heart and body couldn’t take what I was doing. I thought I was managing the situation, but I wasn’t. The ‘work hard / play hard’ mentality wound up catching up with the play hard.

Regarding his current status, Lex Luger has made significant strides in his journey toward sobriety.

Even though he’s wheelchair-bound from an injury he suffered back in 2007, he actively participates in WWE events and enjoys engaging fans.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Lex earned a football scholarship to Penn State University but transferred to the University of Miami after his freshman year.
  • He won his first wrestling match on October 31, 1985, and earned the Southern Heavyweight Champion title in the same year.
