Los Angeles Chargers’ Najee Harris reportedly injured his eye during a fireworks accident.

Najee Harris signed a one-year contract worth $9.25 million with the Los Angeles Chargers, marking a new chapter in his professional football career.

Before Najee was a first-round NFL draft pick or a college football standout, he was a teenager facing unstable housing, food insecurity, and frequent moves.

His time at Antioch High School in California was shaped by adversity, including periods of homelessness.

Harris lived in a series of group homes with his family, yet he did not lose sight of his dream to play football at the highest level.

Despite these early challenges, Harris shone on the field.

He continued his rise at the University of Alabama, where he became a key figure in Nick Saban’s powerhouse programme.

Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021, Harris wasted no time making his mark.

According to Najee’s stats over four seasons, he has rushed for over 4,300 yards and scored 28 touchdowns, while also adding more than 1,100 receiving yards.
