Cooper Kupp is among the most excellent wide receivers to have played for the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL.

Born on June 15, 1993, in Yakima, Washington, he is the son of Karin and Craig Kupp.

His parents have greatly impacted his sporting career and developing personal values.

Cooper’s father, Craig Kupp, played as a quarterback for the Phoenix Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.

Initially, he was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round in 1990 but then released before the season started.

Craig then signed with the Phoenix Cardinals. He spent time on the practice squad before playing his first NFL game in 1991.

His journey continued at the Dallas Cowboys, but he did not play games for them.

Craig’s father, Jake Kupp, also had a stint in the NFL as an offensive lineman.

He played for teams like the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys from 1964 to 1975.

Jake Kupp was a big influence on Craig, establishing a love of football he would one day pass on to Cooper.

The Kupp family is only one of five families in NFL history, with three generations chosen in the NFL draft.

Karin Kupp, Cooper’s mother, also comes from a strong sporting background.

She was a soccer player and played for the University of the Pacific between 1987 and 1990.

Nowadays, she is a fitness instructor and personal trainer.

Her fitness and sporting lifestyle have led her children to healthy living.

Cooper Kupp’s Parents Shaped His Morals And Beliefs In Him From An Early Age

Cooper Kupp’s parents, Craig and Karin, instilled the importance of spiritual beliefs in their children from an early age.

Craig often reflects on how his own parents shaped his faith, a foundation he is committed to passing on to his children. He once said,

I was blessed to have two great parent role models. The presence of Jesus and God’s authority and love was just a part of my upbringing.

This enduring faith played a crucial role in raising Cooper and his younger brother Ketner, who also pursued football at Eastern Washington University.

The family’s religious beliefs have fostered a close bond, where they actively support each other’s dreams and ambitions.

Karin often shares memories of Cooper’s journey, recalling how he was a “real skinny kid” who dared to believe in his ability to succeed in football despite his smaller stature.

Her constant encouragement and faith in his potential were vital as he navigated the challenges of his path to greatness.

Cooper Kupp’s achievements are more than individual milestones—they are the continuation of a generational legacy.

He earned the prestigious Walter Payton Award in 2015 and set numerous records in college football before becoming a key figure in the NFL.

His exceptional performance helped lead the Rams to victory in Super Bowl LVI, where he was named MVP.

Led by Cooper, they continue to inspire young athletes around the world.

Whether cheering him on during the Super Bowl or supporting each other through life’s challenges, the Kupp family showcases the power of love, faith, and perseverance.
