A 18-Year-old Loyola High School Tennis Star, Braun Levi’s Parents Daniel And Jennifer, Mourn His Untimely Demise!

Braun Levi, an 18-year-old tennis player at Loyola High School, passed away on May 4, 2025, survived by his parents, Daniel and Jennifer, and his sister Adelle Levi.

The tennis player Braun Levi succumbed to the injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Manhattan Beach, California, caused by a suspected drunk driver.

The accident occurred when Braun, riding as a passenger, was struck by a vehicle driven by an individual suspected of driving under the influence.

Meanwhile, his parents, Daniel affectionately known as Dan and Jennifer affectionately known as Jen, are deeply mourning the loss of their beloved son.

Daniel and Jennifer, the married couple of 21 years who married on May 27, 2003, have yet to break their silence about the devastating incident, silently grieving the huge loss.

Braun Levi’s mother, Jennifer, is a retired swimmer and runner. She is also a former director of Alternative Programming at Warner Bros. Entertainment. Likewise, she also worked previously at MTV.

Jennifer is a graduate of Ithaca College and Williamsville North High School.

Braun Levi’s sister, Adelle Levi, took to her Instagram to pen an eulogy on his memory, which reads:

Braun,
I will spend the rest of my life striving to live with the same heart, strength, and kindness that you’ve shown these past 19 years. You are deeply loved, and words can’t begin to express how much you’ll be missed.

Adelle, a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, serves as a research assistant at UNC Health’s Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease.

Braun was a key member of Loyola’s tennis team, contributing to their 2024 CIF-Southern Section championship win and their pursuit of a state title in 2025.

Braun Levi’s Father, Daniel, Is A Celebrated Interventional Pediatric Cardiacologist In Los Angeles, CA!

Dr. Daniel S. Levi has been a faculty member at the UCLA School of Medicine since 2003, where he serves as a Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Congenital atheterization Laboratory.

He specializes in minimally invasive procedures, such as ASD, VSD, and PDA closures, stent placements, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and transcatheter valve replacements.

Likewise, Dr. Daniel Levi is also the director of the Adult Congenital Interventional Catheterization Program at UCLA and a pediatric heart transplantation team member.

He leads clinical trials, including the Gore Cardioform ASD trial, the Medtronic Harmony Trial, and the Edwards Alterra trial. Grants from the NIH, American Heart Association, and National Science Foundation have supported Dr. Levi’s work.

Dr. Levi is deeply involved with Camp del Corazon, a nonprofit providing free summer camps for children with heart disease. He serves on its board and volunteers as the camp doctor.

He also travels to Peru annually to perform life-saving procedures for children with congenital heart conditions and supports Hearts With Hope.

Dr. Levi is internationally recognized for his clinical and laboratory research, particularly his development of novel pediatric stents and biodegradable devices for congenital heart disease.

Thanks to his praiseworthy contributions, Dr. Daniel Levi has earned several awards and recognitions.

He is the recipient of the Gerd Hausdorf Pediatric Research Award and was honored at the 2013 Gala del Sol for his contributions.

Similarly, Braun Levi’s father, Dr. Daniel Levi, is recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Pediatric Cardiology.

Dr. Levi is the director of the Congenital Program for the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

Not to forget, he is affiliated with major hospitals, including Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Speaking of his education, he earned a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University in 1992.

Dr. Daniel Levi completed his M.D. at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 1997.

Likewise, he also completed a Pediatrics Residency at UCSF and a Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship with subspecialization in interventional cardiology at UCLA.
