LSU Pole Vaulter Dillon Reidenauer Is Survived By Her Parents, Aundrea And Brad, And Her Sibling!

Dillon Reidenauer, LSU’s rising star, was raised by her parents, Aundrea and Brad, alongside her one sibling in Louisiana.

Dillon Reidenauer was a talented freshman pole vaulter at Louisiana State University (LSU).

She was tragically killed in a car accident on campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The accident occurred on Nicholson Drive, where Dillon’s vehicle was struck by a motorcyclist named Bodhi Linton.

According to police reports, Reidenauer drove her Honda Accord on Wednesday at Nicholson Drive around 9 p.m.

She attempted to turn left onto South Quad Drive, but a northbound motorcycle struck her vehicle.

Sadly, both Dillon and motorcyclist Bodhi Linton, 23, of Prairieville, lost their lives in the crash.

Dillon Reidenauer’s Parents, Along With The LSU Community, Are Deeply Mourning Her Untimely Loss!

Dillon Reidenauer‘s parents are Aundrea and Brad Reidenauer. She was born on May 30, 2006, in Slidell, Louisiana.

She had one sibling, though no further information about her sibling is provided in the public domain.

While there is scarce information about her parents, it is clear that they wholeheartedly supported her passion and dream.

Dillon was just 18 years old and a standout athlete from Abita Springs, Louisiana, with a bright future ahead.

In her first year at LSU, she balanced her academic and athletic commitments.

As a pole vaulter, she had shown great promise and dedication to her sport and was one of the best pole vaulters in her state.

She was a former star track athlete at Fontainebleau High School.

Regarding her high school achievements, she finished second outdoors at the LHSAA State Championships with a clearance of 3.64 meters (11’ 11.25”).

Standing 5’9, she also earned a bronze medal indoors at the LHSAA State Championship with a clearance of 3.71 meters (12’ 2”).

Her personal best in high school was a clearance of 3.81 meters (12’ 6”) in pole vault.

Likewise, Dillon was in her freshman year at Louisiana State University (LSU).

She had shown dedication in sports, and her potential was recognized by her coaches and teammates.

At LSU, she was pursuing a degree in interior design and had just begun her collegiate athletic career.

Her tragic passing is a significant loss to the LSU community and the world of athletics.

The LSU community, including her coaches, teammates, and former teachers, mourned her loss and remembered her as a bright and cheerful individual.

LSU Head Coach Dennis Shaver expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic loss and said:

We are devastated by the tragic passing of Dillon Reidenauer, who was taken from us much too soon, Everyone in our LSU Track & Field family is keeping Dillon’s loved ones in our thoughts and prayers, as well as those of the other individual lost in the incident.

Elicia Ocmond, the athletic director at Fontainebleau High, described Reidenauer as an outstanding student and a great kid.

Additionally, LSU athletics shared this tragic news, stating:

LSU Athletics is heartbroken to share the tragic news of the passing of freshman track and field student-athlete Dillon Reidenauer in a traffic incident Wednesday evening in Baton Rouge. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dillon’s family, friends and teammates, as well as with those impacted by the loss of another individual who died as a result of the incident. We are providing resources and support to all of our student-athletes and staff directly impacted by this tragic loss.
