The English professional mixed martial artist Paddy Pimblett grew up with a brother and sister who have been through his every thick and thins.

A feared and rising MMA fighter, Paddy “THE BADDY” Pimblett was born on January 3, 1995, to Jacqueline and Mark Pimo. 

He grew up in Huyton, Merseyside, where he attended St Margaret Mary’s Primary School and Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School.

The fighter is dominantly a jiu-jitsu fighter but sometimes shows his reckless and unrefined skills as a striker while fighting in the cage of UFC.

Paddy does not just believe in physical fights but also in fights that are related to the mind. He is an advocate in the fight against mental health illness.

The fighter got very emotional and cried as he gave a post-fight statement after victory against Jordan Leavitt about how he found out that one of his mates had just committed suicide.

Paddy has an elder brother named Luke Pimo, but very little information about him is available to the public.

On August 23, 2019, Paddy posted on his Facebook wishing him a birthday with a heartfelt caption; “Happy 30th birthday brother, already got the gift ya wanted in Mary Rose I know you Cudnt want for anymore hopefully your day has been as good as u are at being a dad love ya fella.”

Luke currently resides in Liverpool and is in a relationship with Roe Murray since 2007.

His lover, Roy, works as a health care assistant at NHS Trust.

Furthermore, we also know that he has a sister named Kristy Nunnen.

Similarly, Paddy wished his sister a birthday post on Facebook on May 10, 2019, captioning, “Happy birthday, Kirst, best sister I cud have ever asked for go to the end of the earth and back for me love ya sis.”

Regarding Kristy’s personal life, she is married and is the mother of four children.

Paddy’s family is very close-knit, and it seems like he loves to spend time with his immediate family, nieces, and nephews.

Similarly, Paddy also does not forget to wish his father, Mark (born: February 23, 1961), and mother, Jacqueline (born: October 23, 1959), on their birthday which shows his appreciation towards them.

Paddy Pimblett MMA Career

The fighter currently holds a professional MMA record of twenty wins, 3 losses, and zero draws (20-3-0).

After watching the fight between Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale, he was heavily inspired to join the sport. 

He then started his training in mixed martial arts as early as the age of 14, becoming determined to join the top brass of MMA in the near future.

Paddy started his professional MMA career in the year 2012 and later moved up to Cage Warriors.

The Brit won his first-ever championship by becoming the FCC featherweight champion at the age of 20. 

He made his promotional debut with the UFC in 2021, where he fought against Luigi Vendramini and won by knockout in the first round.

Currently, he is fighting in the Lightweight division in the UFC. 

Being of a jiu-jitsu background, Paddy has an impressive takedown defense of around 56% and a submission average of 2.4, according to the UFC as of this writing.

Recently, Matt Frevola called out Pimblett after his UFC 288 match, and ‘The Baddy’ has accepted the challenge despite his injury.
