Born on January 22, 1991, the Slovakian tennis player began playing in various competitions in 2006 and won the Curacao Juniors Open the same year. She played 24 games in 2007 and reached the South / Central Africa Juniors Circuit semifinals.

Marcelo Arevola and Lucia Kovarcikova went public with their romance in August 2017. At least on Instagram, it was 2017.
On her Facebook handle, Lucia stated it was in October 2018. On August 25, 2017, she shared a photo of her and Marcelo in the streets of Times Square, with the tennis player trying his best Salvadoran “Hulk” impression.
And if Lucia became Instagram official with Marcelo in 2017, then the Salvadoran tennis player waited five more months to confirm their romance.
After confirming that they were dating, the tennis couple didn’t shy away from sharing romantic pictures with their followers.
Lucia started sharing snaps of her attending various tennis tournaments to cheer on her partner, including trips to London and Paris for Wimbledon and the French Open.
The Couple Tied The Knot In 2019
After announcing, they were expecting a baby boy in September 2019, the couple arranged a courthouse wedding in July 2019.
Lucia and Marcelo shared a couple of photos from their low-key courthouse wedding, receiving tons of congratulatory messages from fans and friends. But a year later, they had a more formal wedding ceremony.
