Additionally, Dantonio’s Spartans notched an impressive eight victories over their archrivals, the Michigan Wolverines, during his 13-year tenure.

In 2013, Dantonio achieved a coaching milestone by guiding the Michigan State football program to its first-ever 13-win season.

This remarkable achievement was accompanied by the Spartans’ fifth trip to the illustrious Rose Bowl.

In the Rose Bowl, they secured a memorable victory over Stanford, capping off a stellar season that saw them finish ranked No. 3 in the nation, a testament to their prowess on the field and Dantonio’s coaching prowess.

Becky and Mark are the proud parents of two daughters, Kristen and Lauren, who have been an integral part of their lives since their wedding on July 7, 1990.

Eldest Daughter Kristen

Kristen, the eldest daughter, was born on September 11, 1992.

In a heartwarming moment in 2010, their daughter Kristen was crowned Homecoming queen at Lansing Catholic High School, a cherished memory for the family.

After high school graduation she embarked on her further educational journey and successfully graduated from Michigan State University on May 11, 2015.

Kristen found love with Nathan Carpenter, a former football player during his time at the University of Michigan.

Their relationship blossomed, leading to a memorable engagement on January 6, 2018. The couple exchanged vows on July 1, 2019, in a joyous celebration of their love.

Their happiness continued to grow as they joyfully announced their first pregnancy on January 30, 2020.

Kristen and Nathan’s anticipation culminated in the birth of their daughter, Charlotte Catherine Carpenter, on July 15, 2020, at 8:20 am.

Their family expanded further with the arrival of their second child, a baby boy named Mark Robert Carpenter, born on March 10, 2022, at 2:18 pm, filling their lives with even more love and joy.

Lauren Dantonio

Lauren, the younger daughter, was born on November 2, 1994.

She embarked on her own academic journey and proudly graduated on April 22, 2017, following in her sister’s footsteps, no doubt making her parents proud.

Mark Dantonio and his wife, Becky, have shared a loving marriage since tying the knot in 1990.

Mark’s wife Becky Dantonio was born on September 3, 1962. She is 64 years old as of 2026.

Dantonio, a devout Roman Catholic, instilled strong values in his family, which have undoubtedly shaped their lives.

Their love for Bonita Springs blossomed in 1991 when Mark and Becky started spending their winters in the community.

Their fondness for the area grew, and they became intimately familiar with the surroundings.

It was during this time that they envisioned Bonita Springs as their ideal retirement destination.

This decision was not made in haste; they took five years to meticulously search for the perfect spot.

Interestingly, it was Becky who took the lead in the search for their retirement home, with Mark wholeheartedly supporting her choice.

Their patience and careful consideration paid off when they finally found their dream home in the spring of 2018, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives filled with warmth and cherished moments in Bonita Springs.
