Likewise, Marquand also received the All-America honors from the PrepStar, SuperPre, and National Recruiting Advisor and was among the country’s top defensive backs. 

Similarly, after Manuel attended the University of Florida with an athletic scholarship, he represented the Florida Gators football team from 1998 to 2001 under coach Steve Spurrier. 

Furthermore, the Gators coaching team decided to red-shirt Marquand as a true freshman in 1997.

Later, in 1998, Manuel participated in all eleven regular-season games.

NFL Career 

Cincinnati Bengals

Marquand began his professional career after the Cincinnati Bengals drafted him.

The Bengals selected him as the 181st overall pick during the sixth round.

During the 2005 NFC Championship Game against the Carolina Panthers, Manuel returned an interception from thirty-two yards to set up a touchdown.

After Manuel’s contract expired with the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers signed Marquand after watching his Super Bowl performance.

The Packers signed him as an unrestricted free agent on March 13th, 2006.

The game took place on September 24th, 2006, against the Detroit Lions.

The Carolina Panthers signed Manuel on September 3rd, 2007.

Following his new position, he helped the Seahawks team in the Super Bowl XLVIII.
