Max Russell Was A Multi-Sport Competitor!

Max was a student-athlete at Quakertown High School, graduating in the Class of 2019.

Standing 6’0″ and weighing 195 lbs, he made his mark in both football and wrestling, competing at the varsity level throughout his high school career.

Wearing #67, he played as a tackle and defensive end for the Quakertown Varsity Football team.

Back then, he contributed to a solid defensive unit alongside standout teammates like Nick Levinski and Micah Kunkle.

On the mat, Max wrestled in the 195 lb weight class, building a career record of 60 wins and 58 losses, with 35 victories by fall.

He was one of three Quakertown wrestlers to qualify for the PIAA state championships, advancing through the District III–Southeastern Regional.

Earning a regional qualification, his growth was evident season by season. He improved from a 2–24 freshman record to a standout 27–15 senior year, finishing 2nd at Sectionals and 5th at Regionals.

After four seasons of dual-sport success, Cain’s coaches and teammates acknowledged his senior year achievements. They celebrated his contributions to both football and wrestling squads.

Although there is no information confirming whether Max continued his athletic career after graduation, his achievements and dedication during high school remain truly unforgettable.

Max Russell’s sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire Quakertown community.
