Emma Dejong is the younger sister of MLB star Paul Dejong. Even if she is younger, the player draws a lot of inspiration from her.
Paul Sterling DeJong, born August 2, 1993, is a Major League Baseball (MLB) shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals. He made his MLB debut in 2017.
DeJong, a native of Orlando, Florida, attended and played college baseball at Illinois State University (ISU). The Cardinals drafted him in the fourth round of the 2015 MLB Draft.
Before being drafted, Medical school was always Paul DeJong’s backup plan. Baseball, on the other hand, was always his first option.

It was his love for the sport that got him driving two and a half hours down Interstate-55 to Busch Stadium.
Because of a fractured left thumb, he believed it couldn’t work out, but the St. Louis Cardinals invited him to come down to shake hands and discuss.
Despite his injury, he managed to get 25 home runs in his debut season, he led all National League (NL) shortstops.
He was the club’s starting shortstop for the next two seasons until he struggled offensively in 2021 and 2022.
The player lost his starting job and was relegated to Triple-A Memphis Redbirds in early May 2022.
However, he made a comeback and returned to the major league team in July of the same year.
Meet Paul DeJong Sister Emma DeJong
Emma DeJong is the beautiful younger sister of Paul Dejong whom he loves very much. The two are very close and share a lot of fond memories.
She attended the Studies.
She graduated with her course of Bachelor of Arts in the year 2022.

DeJong is a classical music enthusiast and has been involved with the symphony Palm Beach Symphony for over the past three years.
He is the symphony’s ambassador, attending concerts and events throughout the year to raise awareness of the symphony and its activities.
One such event was the Holly Jolly Luncheon, which was important for DeJong because his sister, Emma, designed the ties that the Music Men wore to the luncheon.
Emma is a Scorpio by horoscope as per her Twitter bio, which shows in her fearless, bold, and passionate personality.
She also has a younger brother Mather Dejong, apart from the MLB star Paul Dejong.
Paul Dejong Injuries
DeJong missed the first few games of the 2023 season due to a back injury.
The 29-year-old suffered a lower back injury early in spring training but fully recuperate and return to the field.
He attempted a return and took ground balls before the Opening Day, but his lower back flared up and forced him out again.
Finally, the team’s longest-tenured position player, Paul DeJong, made his way off the disabled list in late April.
The former All-Star is quietly rediscovering his form and making a comeback as a force in the Cardinals lineup.

Before this injury, Shortstop Paul DeJong was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a non-displaced left rib fracture in May of 2021.
Thankfully, DeJong’s left side had a blip on his MRI, which was good news because it ruled out any kind of oblique illness that is known to persist.
Anyone is prone to injury when playing baseball in one of the most prestigious baseball leagues in the world.
There is no guarantee that Dejong will lead an injury-free career but we do wish him all the best and a speedy recovery from any ones that he may encounter.
