The 23-year-old wide receiver Grant DuBose is the eldest of three children born to his parents, Dean and Jacqueline DuBose.
Having started to play football at a young age, Grant’s parents have always supported him throughout his journey.
Dean and Jacqueline have been there for him since he was a relatively unknown high school player to become one of his generation’s rising professional football wide receivers.
However, recently, on December 15, 2024, Grant suffered a head injury during a game against the Texans, prompting medical staff to carry him off the field on a stretcher.
The football player was hospitalized but is now reported to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, we extend our prayers for his speedy recovery and send strength to his parents and family during this challenging time.
Grant DuBose’s Parents Maintain a Low Profile, Although They’ve Been His Biggest Cheerer Since Day One!
Grant Dubose was born on June 20, 2001, in Montgomery, Alabama, where he faced the challenges of having limited prospects of making it into the NFL.
Despite his talent, he initially struggled to get noticed by recruiters after graduating high school.
However, even with little hope, his parents believed in him and encouraged him to keep trying and never give up.
Grant was a zero-star recruit and received no scholarship offers until ten days before signing day.
The footballer then got an offer from Miles College, made it into the NFL in 2023, and has played for the Dolphins since August 2024.
Despite all his struggles, he stayed committed to his efforts, persevered, and remained determined to honor his parent’s support.
That said, both Grant’s parents stay away from the limelight and prefer to keep their personal lives out of the public spotlight.
On top of that, the wide receiver, Grant, also stays mum about them in public.
However, as evident from Grant’s sister Chasity’s Facebook posts, the Dubose siblings share a close bond with their parents.
Chasity has shared many pictures from their family gathering and pictures from his games on her social media.
In 2015, the sister of the 23-year-old wide receiver shared a heartwarming family picture that captured the happy smiles of the NFL player alongside his siblings and parents.
This speaks volumes about the strong bond between the tight-knit DuBose family of six members.
Grant is nothing but grateful for his parent’s support and love throughout his career and credits much of his success to them.
