50-year-old Michael Maguire, currently serving as the head coach for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League, is happily married to his wife, Joelle Maguire, who also works in the sports field just like him but on the administrative side.
Michael’s wife, Joelle Maguire, is currently the sports project manager and program director at Aerobic Gymnastic Dance in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Joelle also worked at the recent Olympic Games in Paris, held from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Being involved in sports administration, the coach’s spouse appears to travel a lot.
During the August interview with Fatima Kdouh of The Daily Telegraph, Broncos coach Michael Maguire said he is absolutely thankful for his wife being away from him most of the time. His statement read,
My wife has done an incredible job over the years with me being away a lot. I’m very blessed for that.
This all comes down to the fact that Michale could enjoy his fatherhood when his better half, Joelle, travels all around due to her professional commitment.
Meanwhile, his wife was busy with the Paris Olympics, leaving their three children to him to look after, so he said,
For me now, I’m just back on the tools as a parent. But doing that represents what this NSW team is about: family. I’m really enjoying my time with the kids. Being a NRL head coach, you lose a lot of your weekends sport.

Most recently, the media revealed that the Broncos head coach, Michael Maguire, and his wife are multi-millionaires with four properties across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in their name.
The couple also has homes at Bracken Ridge, Everton Park, Durack, and Maroochy River. Courier Mail reports say the properties were all purchased between 2018 and 2021.

During that period, Michael served as the head coach for the Wests Tigers and New Zealand rugby league Test team and guided the Kiwis to the World Cup semi-finals.
Well, his Everton Park property alone can be worth up to $910,000, with a profit of $355k. He bought the property for $555,000 in 2018.
