Michael Venus proposed to his then-girlfriend, Sally Trafford, on the roof of the O2 Arena in London. It was after he reached the semi-finals of the ATP Masters in November 2017.

The happy pair were blessed with their first child, Lila, on October 14, 2018. Reportedly, Venus raced back to London to be with his fiancee for the birth of their first child.

Sadly, Lila was born with craniosynostosis, where one of the sutures in her head fused early, which restricted her skull growth.

She had three surgeries to open the suture and even out the growth of her head. It’s good news that she’s ahead on all the developmental stuff.

Michael Venus married the brunette beauty in January 2020.

Michael and Sally soon welcomed their second daughter, Georgia, on April 2021. 

Unfortunately, he was separated from Sally and two young daughters for nearly four months as he built toward Tokyo to win an Olympic medal for New Zealand.

Sally also travels with her husband to support him in his matches.
