Spartan family member Jean Paul “JP” Muhire passed away on November 12, 2025, in a tragic car crash at the young age of 22.
Thus far, the details surrounding the circumstances of his accident remain concealed.
Jean is survived by his parents, siblings, including Joshua Irumva Fit, and numerous extended family members.

\Now the family has to deal with funeral costs, burial arrangements, and legal stuff on top of their grief.
Hence, the fundraiser is there to cover those bills, allowing them to focus on being together and healing.
Following his demise, the MSU women’s basketball team shared the sad news on social media, writing:
Our program is so much better because JP was a part of it. We remember him for his kind nature, strong work ethic, reliability, and his bright smile.
