WWE Legend, Mike Rotunda, better known as I.R.S., is facing one of the most intense battles of his life. His wife, Stephanie, his two childrens, and the entire wrestling community are by his side during this hard time, singing prayers for his recovery.

After losing a beloved family member and wrestling icon, Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), just a couple of years ago, another heartbreaking news has hit the Rotunda family.

At just 67 years of age, the WWE Hall of Famer has entered hospice care. His family has not shared the exact cause of the illness, as they want to keep medical details private.

However, a few sources have reported that the issue arose due to complications of a brain tumor.

Former Colleagues and Temmates Beg For Prayers

Mike Rotuna’s tag team partner and brother-in-law, Barry Windham, confirmed the news in an interview, saying, “It’s tough right now. You know, Mike is in hospice right now.”

This news comes after years of professional milestones, including induction into the Hall of Fame and building a legacy in wrestling alongside tag-team partners such as Barry Windham and Ted DiBiase.

The WWE legend’s carrer spans decades. He was first recognized when he was part of The U.S. Express with Windham. Together, they captured the WWF Tag Team Championship twice in the mid-1980s.

As I.R.S., when he formed Money Inc., later with Ted DiBiase, the duo won three more tag team titles.

As Mike Rotunda is in critical condition, Barry Windham has publicly asked fans to send prayers and support to his fellow former teammate.

Leilani Kai, a former Female WWE wrestler wrote,

“It’s with a very heavy heart that I share this newS.
