Michael T. Rozier, known as Mike Rozier, is a former American professional football player who was a running back in the United States Football League (USFL) for two seasons.

Furthermore, he was in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons and had his career in sports spanning from the 1980s to the early 1990s.

The young Rozier spent his college years at Coffeyville Junior College in Kansas. During senior season, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy and named All-American.

The Pittsburgh Maulers selected him as the first overall pick in the 1984 USFL Draft. He played his first two professional seasons in the USFL. 

Later, the Houston Oilers drafted Rozier in the first round (2nd pick overall) of the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft of USFL and CFL Players.

In the NFL, the running back played for the Oilers (1985-1990) and the Atlanta Falcons (1990-1991).

Throughout his career, the athlete was named two-time Pro Bowl, won the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Chic Harley Award, UPI Player of the Year, and Sporting News Player of the Year.

His daughter, Amber, was born to Rita Baldwin on September 9, 1990, in Galveston, Texas. She was a USATF Junior Olympic Qualifier in the 400-meter hurdles.

Furthermore, she graduated from the University of Colorado, where she was a recipient of a track scholarship. 

Likewise, JaMichael was in the class of 2010 at Klein Collins High School. He later joined Prairie View A&M University.
