American professional basketball player Miles Emmanuel Bridges Sr. (born March 21, 1998) plays for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The Los Angeles Clippers chose Bridges as the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. However, on draft night, he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets.

Miles represented the Michigan State Spartans in collegiate basketball. Bridges is from Flint, Michigan, and played various high school sports for Flint Southwestern Academy.

As per a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, the NBA player was released on a $130,000 bond. 

According to the hospital diagnosis, the injuries included “Adult victim of physical abuse by a male partner; assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of the nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, strain of neck muscle.”

On November 5, 2022, Bridges pleaded to no contest to felony domestic violence and was sentenced to three years of probation with no jail time.

Currently, the pair share joint custody of the kids, but any visitation will have to be done through a neutral third party. 

In March of 2023, Mychelle came to Twitter to defend Mike and stated that he is not a “woman beater.”

The tweet was made after the verdict was given by the court, so it is difficult for us to judge Mike with these conflicting reports.
