Bobby Jenks was a two-time MLB All-Star pitcher, best known for his role as the closer for the 2005 World Series champion Chicago White Sox.

Professionally, Eleni holds a degree in Financial Accounting and studied Counseling Psychology at UCLA.
She founded Moosa Jewels, a luxury jewelry brand, co-runs Portugal Khomes, a real estate venture, and leads Mia Anasa Retreats, a wellness experience hosted on yachts sailing through the Greek islands.
The couple met around 2010 in an Arizona rehab facility. During that time, Jenks was recovering from a near-fatal spinal surgery and addiction, while Eleni was battling an eating disorder.
After dating for several years, they married and had two children together, Zeno, now 11, and Kate, 5.
While Bobby had four children, Cuma, Nolan, Rylan, and Jackson, from a previous marriage to Adele Romkee.
While the exact reason for their divorce hasn’t been publicly disclosed, reports suggest that their separation happened years before Bobby’s health struggles began.
In contrast, when Bobby was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer in October 2024, Eleni became his caregiver, managing his medication, hospital visits, and shielding their kids from the stress.
Their challenges were compounded when, in January 2025, wildfires destroyed their California home, leaving them with virtually nothing.
She flew back to recover their belongings, but only his 2005 World Series ring was saved.
Additionally, Eleni organized fundraisers to help cover his medical costs, especially after their insurance ran out.
Despite all the efforts to fight his illness and rebuild their life after the wildfire, Bobby Jenks passed away on July 4, 2025.
