An old resident of Henderson, Kentucky, Bryan Newman Willett, took his last breath on November 24, 2025, at the age of 35, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends.
Reportedly, Bryan had faced health challenges from a young age; however, intricate details about his health issues remain concealed.
He wished to be an organ donor, giving life to several people, and now his wish is to be fulfilled.
Bryan Newman is survived by his mother, Susan H Bickwermert, and stepfather, Bobby; father, Thadis Willett, and stepmother, Rita; and his sister, Kelly Willett-Starks, and brother-in-law, Marvin.
Kelly, his sister, took to her Facebook to express her deep grief at losing him. She wrote:
This is absolutely the worst pain I have ever felt in my life,saying goodbye to my 35-year-old baby brother is going to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do. My heart feels like it’s been ripped into a million pieces. My baby yall 💔 Lord, please give us strength right now, this is devastating to us!

She said that the day Bryan was born was one of the proudest moments she will ever cherish.
“I love you Bryan Newman Willett forever and ALWAYS. There wasn’t anyone as sweet & gentle as you! I’m not sure how my life will go on without you!“ Kelly added to the post.
In another post, she again shared several throwback pictures from their childhood, reminiscing about those days. She wrote:

Bryan was a beloved uncle to his niece, Ariel Willett. She shared details about his funeral service on her Facebook.
Likewise, he leaves behind numerous relatives and extended family members.
Born on October 6, 1990, Bryan Willett loved baseball. In fact, he was a big fan of MLB Star Sammy Sosa, who played for the Chicago Cubs.
Ryan Crooke, a childhood friend, took to his Facebook to reminisce about their neighborhood adventures, math tutoring, and bonding over MLB stars. He wrote:
We used to run around together in our neighborhood, playing “guns” you tutored me in math (god knows I needed it) had our favorite baseball players mine… mark for STL yours SAMMY for CHI TOWN.

He always had several stories to share about his grandfather, Dorris, and his courageous World War 2 experiences.
Officiated by Pastor Bobby Lott, services will reportedly be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Community Baptist Church.
Whereas, visitation is scheduled from 11 am until 2 pm with service to follow at 2 p.m.
During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Bryan’s parents, sister, friends, and extended family.
