Jordan Reef Ann Olheiser, a beloved member of the Moncks Corner, South Carolina, community, passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 30.

Moncks Corner resident Jordan Olheiser, 30, is survived by her parents, Brandon and Crystal, and three siblings: sisters Dana Olheiser Brown and Kennedy and brother Bryce Olheiser.

Jordan Olheiser was born on February 28, 1995, in Charleston, South Carolina, to her parents, Brandon Olheiser and Crystal Olheiser.

While her family or officials have yet to share details surrounding the exact cause of her death, some people on social media have suggested it might have been a suicide.

Additionally, a social media post by her sister, Dana, seems to align with these suggestions.

Jordan’s sister Dana shared a heartfelt message encouraging anyone facing tough times to reach out to their loved ones for support, especially in light of her sister’s passing.

This might be out of pocket, but I just want to add that often times people don’t reach out when they’re in a tough place. While the posts are meaningful, may I encourage you to reach out yourself to friends or people you may think are struggling or you haven’t heard from in a while. You may never know the impact reaching out to someone, who didn’t have to reach out to you first, can have.

Brandon and Crystal, a married couple of 30 years, first met while attending Berkeley High School.

The high school sweethearts work together at Red Electrical Designs LLC, where Brandon is the project manager and Crystal is an estimator.

Following Jordan’s tragic passing, her father Brandon updated his profile picture featuring all four of his kids. Whereas her sisters, Kennedy and Dana, updated their respective cover pictures featuring Jordan.

Jordan’s sister Dana is a hydration specialist at Utah State University Athletics, and her sister Kennedy plays soccer at Birmingham Southern College.

Whereas her brother, Bryce, is a talented baseball player.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Jordan left behind her brother-in-law, Russell, grandparents Dennis and Christine Olheiser, Deborah Davis and Fred Scruggs, and extended family members.

Jordan also had a special bond with her dog, Nala, who brought her daily happiness.

A smart and driven young woman, Jordan graduated from Berkeley High School in 2013. She went on to study construction management at the University of South Carolina and The Citadel.

She was a welcoming person who made everyone feel at home. Following her unexpected demise, one of her friends, Storm Judy, penned a lengthy eulogy, which reads:

I honestly and truly don’t know anyone that could light up a room like this woman right here.. You made days so easy here at The Citadel, your contagious smile and the hug you would always give me that followed up with you saying “Go win the day Cadet” cause you thought it was hilarious seeing me in uniform lol.. all of that will forever stay with me.
will forever “Win” the day for you Jordan.. thank you for being the light of every day and for always being a voice of reason when Bryce and I would do something stupid..

To honor Jordan’s life, her family has planned a visitation on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Russell Funeral Chapel in Moncks Corner.

The next day, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2 p.m., there will be a Celebration of Life at the same place, followed by a burial at Oak Hill Cemetery at 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, we extend our condolences to her parents, siblings, friends, and other family members.
