Mallory recently made waves by committing to play basketball for Minnesota State University, following in her sister’s footsteps. Likewise, Maggie also showcases her talent on the basketball court as part of the University of Minnesota.

The three sisters have been deeply involved in basketball since childhood, sharing a collective dream of one day playing in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Monika Czinano, a professional basketball player from the United States, is renowned for her role as a power forward and center at the University of Iowa.

During her tenure at Iowa, she achieved a significant milestone in her senior season. She became the only fifth Hawkeye to surpass 2,000 career points and the 38th player in the history of the Big Ten Conference to reach this milestone.

Even in her highschool she achieved a numerous accolades, such as being a three-time all-conference honoree, earning selection to the All-section team by Breakdown Sports Media in 2017 and 2018, achieving First team All-State selection in 2018.

Monika Czinano grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota, U.S., with her two younger sisters, Maggie and Mallory Czinano.

All three sisters have pursued basketball and are active athletes.

Maggie Czinano is currently a junior basketball player at the University of Minnesota. Before her college career, she earned Star Tribune All-Metro Honorable Mention honors during her high school years.

Furthermore, Maggie excelled in other sports as well, earning five letters each in soccer and track and field. She was a two-time all-conference honoree and received a 2018 all-state honorable mention in soccer.

After high school, she committed to playing for Minnesota but only participated in nine games during her freshman year due to various injuries.

In contrast, she played in 29 of the team’s 30 games during the following season. Maggie made her first career start against Illinois (1/15), scoring six points on 3-of-4 shooting, along with five rebounds.

She also achieved a career high of 11 rebounds in her third career start during a loss to Purdue.

Sister Mallory Is A Forward At Minnesota State University

Mallory Czinano, a 6’0 forward from Watertown, Minnesota, is a talented athlete who has excelled in multiple sports at Watertown-Mayer High School.

Throughout her high school career, Mallory earned three varsity letters each in basketball, volleyball, and track. She averaged 11 points and 5.7 rebounds for the Royals during her junior basketball season.

Mallory’s achievements include being a three-time All-Conference selection and receiving the team’s Most Improved Player award as a freshman and sophomore.

In addition to her basketball prowess, Mallory has also competed in various track and field events, such as the 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints, and has even qualified for state in the shot put.

She is currently plays basketball at Minnesota State University.
