The community of Monticello, Iowa, is mourning the loss of Aiden Grant, a talented young high school student whose death has deeply affected everyone.

Beyond sports, Aiden demonstrated musical talent, playing the trombone in the school band. In April 2025, he helped his ensemble earn a Division I Superior Rating at a solo and ensemble contest.
