Lane Hutson, an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL, shares his recent achievements with his parents.
With his exceptional hockey skills, the NHL star is already breaking records in Montreal at such a young age.
Lane recently became the fastest rookie defender in Habs history to reach 30 points in a season, leading Matvei Michkov by one point.
He reached 30 points in 42 career games; in the last 30 years, only 3 other defensemen reached 30 NHL points this quickly, including Cale Makar, Quinn Hughes, and Shayne Gostisbehere.
This recent achievement of Hutson has become a proud moment for his parents, who have been his guide and constant source of support in both his personal and professional life.
Talking about his parents, Lane was born on February 14, 2004, in Holland, Michigan, to his mother, Juilie Justus Hutson, and father, Robert, aka Rob Hutson.
Rob and Julie often share pictures of their sons on their social media, expressing their love and pride for their son.
Hutson has three brothers: an elder brother named Quinn and two younger brothers named Cole and Lars.
All his brothers are ice hockey players; Quinn played hockey with Lane at Boston University.
Similarly, Cole currently serves as the ice hockey defenseman for Boston University of NCAA. He recently won the gold medal at the 2025 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, representing the United States.
