Laila Ali Clears Up Pregnancy Rumors And Death Hoax An Instagram

Muhammad Ali’s daughter hopped on Instagram with a video to clear up pregnancy rumors and a death hoax.

She said she’s doing great and is healthy, despite a story surfacing from Canada claiming she passed away while giving birth in a hospital.

At first, she didn’t think anyone would buy it, so she brushed it off.

But then she started getting texts and calls from worried folks checking on her, so she figured she’d better set things straight.

She clarified that the rumor was fake and that she was not gone anywhere.

Laila Ali posted the video on Sunday, March 31st, and said that if people stopped by her page to see what was up, they’d know she was okay.

She’s 47, has a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, and laughed about how she’s not pregnant. She’s been working hard on her abs and isn’t planning on having more kids.

She wrapped up by thanking everyone for their love and support.

Laila Ali only spoke about pregnancy in 2010, when she was carrying her second baby and had some advice for other moms-to-be.

She chatted with People magazine, saying pregnancy isn’t a time to go wild with food.

She mentioned that putting on too many pounds could persist after the baby arrives, making it challenging to slim down later.

She thought it was better to take it easy on the eating.

Well, Ali’s relationship history begins with her marriage to Johnny “Yahya” McClain on August 27, 2000. Johnny then managed her career and helped her along the way.

They split by the end of 2005, and he stopped being her manager.

Then, on July 23, 2007, Ali said “I do” to Curtis Conway, a former NFL player, in Los Angeles.

They have two children: Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr., born in August 2008, and Sydney J. Conway, who arrived in April 2011.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Laila Ali shared that her dad, Muhammad Ali, wasn’t thrilled about her choice to pursue a career in boxing like he did.
  • She is also a stepmom to Curtis’s three children from his previous relationships.
  • In 2019, Laila Ali was unmasked as the panda on The Masked Singer, and she also appeared on shows like Celebrity Wife Swap, Chopped: All-Stars, Home Made Simple, and The New Celebrity Apprentice.
