Auto racing driver Austin Cindric’s father, Tim, dated his boss’s daughter, Megan, and they married within a year of their relationship.

Austin Cindric is an auto racing driver, currently competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. He drives the No. 2 Ford Mustang for Team Penske.

The star racer’s career achievements include winning the prestigious Daytona 500 and the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship.

His journey in motorsports began at a young age, influenced by the experience and connections of his parents.

His family has deep ties to the racing world, with his father previously transitioning from a manager to President of Team Penske.

Despite the connections, Austin started racing in semi-professional legends cars and Bandoleros. It helped him gain experience, further fueled by his familial ties in racing.

NASCAR Driver Austin Cindric’s Mom and Dad Share a Close Relation With Motorsports and Team Management!

Austin Cindric’s parents, Tim and Megan Cindric, have gained mainstream fame due to him. However, they are great figures in racing on their own.

They built a stable background and base for their children to grow. Austin followed the path and went on to race professionally in NASCAR.

Talking about his parents, Tim Cindric is the President of Team Penske, a leading motorsports organization in the US.

He has a rich history in the racing industry, having joined Team Penske in 1999. Under his leadership, the team gained success in the IndyCar and NASCAR series.

Tim’s strategic vision and management skills have been pivotal in securing multiple championships. He was just a manager when he joined Penske but now leads the whole team.

He graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. There, he played basketball for four years and was even a letterman.

The Rose-Hulman alumnus served as a team manager for Team Rahal before officially joining Team Penske.

He decided to join after Penske offered him a manager position and a visionary leader.

Like Austin’s dad had near experience with motorsports, his wife, the racer’s mother, Megan, was also close to the sport.

Megan Trueman’s dad, Jim, owned a racing team, Truesports, and even started Red Roof Inn motels.

Reports suggest that she worked in the business and took control after Dad’s demise in 1986.

While Tim is more visible due to his professional requirements, she has recently remained relatively low profile.

Austin Cindric’s Parents Began Dating Only After the Demise of His Mother’s Dad, Jim Trueman!

Tim Cindric and Megan Cindric met during the former’s time at Truesports. He worked with the racing team, and they first met there.

However, the couple’s relationship kicked off only after Megan’s dad, Jim Trueman, passed away in 1986.

Tim had just seen her, but they never had interaction. Later, he addressed their dynamics, saying, “She was the boss’ daughter and I was like the peasant.”

But after interacting with each other for hours and even driving Megan from work to home, they started dating.

They built a strong relationship, and within a year, they exchanged vows and tied the knot. Reports suggest that Tim and Megan got married around 1991.

The couple shares two sons, born just three years apart. The oldest son, Taner, was born in 1995, and Austin Cindric was born on September 2, 1998.

Austin’s brother, Taner, graduated from Denver University with a marketing degree. He now works as a Senior Brand Manager at Varsity Headwear.

Previously, Tanner worked as the MD and Co-founder of Nightrain, Pitkin Country Dry Goods, AM at Armitage & McMillan, and so on.
