Haleigh Broucer, the wife of NBA player Alex Caruso and former Big Brother contestant, didn’t know she was adopted until 6th grade.

That said, she remains low-key about her adoptive parents. She has shared a few details about her family life, though she keeps much of it concealed away from media scrutiny.

Haleigh revealed in an interview that she was adopted when she was in sixth grade.

Though she keeps her personal life private, Haleigh openly shows that she has a very close relationship with her mom, Lindsey Broucher.

Haleigh Caruso Has a Strong Bond With Herr Mother, Lindsay!

Alex Caruso’s wife, Haleigh, often talks about how strong the bond she has with her mother via social media posts.

Above all, people are surprised to learn that Haleigh is adopted because she and her mother, Lindsey, look so much alike. Some even say they could pass for twins.

When Haleigh was on Big Brother and won Head of Household, Lindsey sent her a heartfelt letter.

She congratulated her, told her how much she missed her, and shared that the whole family was doing well and was proud of her. She wrote:

Hey, Doll!
Congrats on winning this HOH! Oh my goodness, I miss you so very much! All of the family are doing well, and are so supportive!

On 2015 Mother’s Day, Haleigh shared their old photo and penned a caption appreciating her mother, which reads:

My best friend, my voice of reason, my doctor, my teacher, my support, my better half, my mom. ❤️ I can only pray and hope to become half the woman you are. I love you momma, Happy Mother’s Day.

In 2019, Haleigh posted a loving tribute to her mom, calling her “the most beautiful woman” she had ever met.

She said she would be happy if she could grow to be even half the woman her mom is, and she joked about hoping to inherit her mom’s skin one day.

Haleigh rarely talks about her father, but she has mentioned that he struggles with mental illness.

She once shared that she volunteered at St. Joe’s hospital for the mentally ill because of her father’s condition. Beyond that, she has chosen to keep details about him private.

On 2015 Father’s Day, Haleigh wrote:

Happy Father’s Day to the man who stole my heart, and will keep it forever. I love you Daddy.
