She was born to her parents, Lou Ann Chae and A. Chae, as the youngest of three. She grew up with a brother, A. Chae Jr., and a sister, Anna Laura Clark.
The Texas-born loves capturing the beauty in everyday moments and used to practice ballet at the School of Sacramento Ballet.
At present, she has been working as a marketing manager at West 22 Houston since June 2021.
Neilson and Francis first met on Hinge in November 2019 and went for a walk around the neighborhood of Oak Park on their first date.
Their initial dating phase involved a lot of long-distance between California, where Frances lived, and Australia, Spain, or wherever Neilson was racing.
Luckily for them, when Covid hit and the world shut down, Neilson was in the States, and they got to spend a few months together.

Neilson Powless was born as the second child of his parents, Jack and Jeanette Powless, on September 3, 1996.
His mother, Jen Powless (nee Allred), is a former marathon runner for Guam and competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
Similarly, his father, Jack, used to compete in the Ironman Triathlons.
Moreover, his elder sister, Shayna, is also a highly-ranked racing cyclist who competes for DNA Pro Cycling.
Growing up, Neilson used to race X-Terra triathlons with his sister in Northern California.
