Quarterback Tommy DeVito’s parents, mother Alexandra DeVito and father Tom DeVito, have been married for almost three decades. They’ve been tied the marital bond since June 9, 1996.
Unlike Tommy, neither of his parents is connected to the sports industry. However, they have always been the unwavering supporter of his career.
His father, Tom, is a third-generation plumber who owns DeVito Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Valley Road, Montclair. His mother is the vice president of their plumbing and heating business.
A professional at his work and passionate about his profession, Tom said:
I am the fastest boiler installer you have ever seen. I do all-day boilers in about three hours. I like to do the boilers because that is my signature. I paint my boilers, I take pride in my boilers, and I am just a boiler specialist.

Talking to the New York Post, Tom unveiled that he introduced Tommy to the game when he was 5.
He would drive the then-aspiring player to each football game during his high school days at Don Bosco High School.
Originally from Livingston, New Jersey, Alexandra is a proud mom who often shares her support and excitement for her son’s achievements on social media.
Alexandra, a Livington High School graduate, doesn’t miss any opportunity to support her son’s thriving football career. She religiously shares his achievements on her social media platforms.

Unlike his mother, Alexandra, his father, Tom, isn’t active on social platforms. He is busy with his plumbing and heating business but never misses his games.
He reportedly worked 100-hour weeks but never missed a game. Hence, Tommy credits his work ethic to his father.
Tommy revealed that his father would travel to every college game he started. He even was present for every minicamp and practice in November 2023.
A proud father, Tom never doubted his son’s potential to reach the NFL. Speaking confidently to the New York Post, he said:
Tommy was born to do this. I’m not surprised, and I’m not trying to sound cocky, but Tommy’s been training for this since he was 5 years old. People think, ‘Oh, he’s undrafted,’ and they wonder why he’s here. He’s here because [Giants coach Brian] Daboll knows he’s got a diamond in the rough.

As of now, the tight-knit DeVito family of four now lives in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
A Family-Oriented Football Player, Tommy DeVito, Admits Living With His Parents Instead of Giants’ Facilities!
Tommy DeVito was born to Tom DeVito and Alexandra DeVito on August 7, 1998. Shortly after his birth, his parents welcomed his brother, Max DeVito, into the family.
The quarterback has kept his family closer than ever as he navigates his football career.
One of the several instances of Tommy’s family-oriented nature is his decision to live with his parents.
He has been vocal about opting to live at home during his rookie season because of the proximity of his parent’s home, which is close to the Giants’ facilities, i.e., 10 miles from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Tommy addressed his decision to the reporters in November 2023, saying:
The decision was made since this level of football is stressful for a rookie, especially from the quarterback position.
He added: “There is a lot going on, a lot of meetings. So everything outside of football is handled by my family.”
Tommy’s statement pretty much sums up the type of person he is. He is a family-oriented person who always looks up to his parents.
Likewise, the 26 —year-old quarterback also revealed that his mother still cooks dinner for him, saying:
I don’t have to worry about laundry, what I’m eating for dinner, chicken cutlets and all that is waiting for me when I get there.

Similarly, his family has made it their mission to cheer on Tommy as much as possible in their signature way.
If not, previously, they even made headlines for making the same hand gesture, i.e., “the Italian chef kiss” when Tommy throws a touchdown pass.
