Aaron James Judge was born in Sacramento, California, on April 26, 1992. He was adopted by Patty and Wayne Judge when he was just two days old.
The adoptive parents both worked as teachers in Linden, California, and met eachother when they were students at Fresno State University.
Before adopting Aaron, Patty and Wayne had adopted John Jacob in 1985, making him Aaron’s elder brother.

He feels blessed to be Patty and Wayne’s child, showing utmost appreciation towards them.
“I know I wouldn’t be a New York Yankee if it wasn’t for my mom. The guidance she gave me as a kid growing up, knowing the difference between right and wrong, how to treat people and how to go the extra mile and put in extra work, all that kind of stuff. She’s molded me into the person that I am today.”
“Some kids grow in their mom’s stomach; I grew in my mom’s heart… She’s always showed me love and compassion ever since I was a little baby.” For this reason, he explains, “I’ve never needed to think differently or wonder about anything.”

They also mentioned that they are more blessed than Aaron. Whereas Wayne jokingly revealed some wholesome details while raising Aaron.
“We kind of joked that he looked like the Michelin Tire baby. It wasn’t long before the 4 ounces of formula was just the appetizer and it had to be the formula with the oatmeal to pacify him.”

Patty and Wayne always wanted to instill good behavior in Aaron from a very young age. They wanted Aaron to be a good person with values and morals.
“His mother and I just wanted him to be a really good person. But we knew from a very young age, as soon as we put a ball in his hand, that he had a lot of natural talent.”

The Yankee also mentioned that his father, Wayne, is his hero, someone he always looks up to.
“Looking back on those childhood memories, I could tell he didn’t want to do it. I could tell he was tired. He’d had a long day of work. But he never said no. He never complained, nothing. So for me, that’s why he’s still the hero in my eyes.”

Moreover, the baseball star founded the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation (AJARF) in 2017. His mother serves as its executive director and President.
The motto of the AJARF is to “inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities.”
The mother-son duo has organized annual camps for children, leadership conferences, and an All-Star Evening Gala.
The All-Star Evening Gala, that the foundation hosted on Wall Street, raised nearly $800,000 for various youth programs in New York City.
