1. Chris Godwin

We will start this list of NFL free agents of 2024 with Chris Godwin. Born in Middletown, Delaware, Godwin was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round with the 84th overall pick during the 2017 NFL draft.

Godwin won his first Super Bowl championship on February 7, 2021. He led the Buccaneers to a 31-9 victory, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. His achievements to date include the Second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl in 2019.

His record to date is 301 receptions, 4,257 receiving yards, and 28 receiving touchdowns.
The Buccaneers placed the franchise tag worth $15.9 million on Godwin on March 9, 2021, and Godwin signed the contract on March 18.

2. Allen Robinson

  • Age: 31 

The next free agent on our list is the wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, Allen Robinson. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Robinson made his NFL debut in 2014.

The 6ft 2 inches tall player was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Robinson played for the Jaguars for the four-season till 2017. Then in 2018, he signed to play for the Chicago Bears.

During his college year, Villanueva played football for the Army Black Knights. He was undrafted in the 2010 NFL draft, but he received a tryout with the Cincinnati Bengals. However, he couldn’t make the team.

In 2014, Villanueva was one of the 240 prospects invited to the NFL super regional combine in Detroit. There he met with the representatives from the Philadelphia Eagles.

6. Justin Simmons

The next on our list is Justin Simmions, a professional football safety playing for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. While attending Boston College, Simmons played college football as a safety and cornerback.

Another free agent with a wide receiver position is 28 year old JuJu Smith-Schuster. He was drafted in the 2017 NFL draft in the second round by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

15. Patrick Peterson

  • Age: 34

Patrick Peterson is a cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings. The Arizona Cardinals drafted him as fifth overall in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft.

Peterson attended Louisiana State University. During his college year, he played football for the LSU Tigers football team.

30 year-old Will Fuller is a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. Will was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Houston Texans.

In the 2016 NFL draft, Will was a 21st overall pick, and he was the second wide receiver selected.

24. Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman is a 36 year-old free agent cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Seattle Seahawks drafted Sherman in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft.

Sherman attended Dominguez High School, where he played football and track and field. Initially, he was committed to UCLA, but he received an athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University.

So instead, he attended Standford and played for the Standford Cardinal football.
