In her senior year, Megan was the team captain and holds the school record of 1,882 points. She was also named Des Moines Register Player of the Year finalist in 2019.
Before joining Drake University, Megan had committed to the University of Iowa and played two seasons, appearing in 40 games. She averaged 8.8 minutes and scored 2.3 points per game.
In her junior year with Drake, Megan was the only player to play all 34 games and averaged 12.1 points. Megan’s senior year was cut short after a season-ending knee injury and had been averaging 12.9 points.
