NFL Legend and Hall of Famer Charles Woodson’s wife, April Woodson, doesn’t like being a social media eye candy, unlike him, who actively makes various appearances.
Charles Woodson, 48, was a superstar since his early days as a football player at Ross High School.
In his senior season, Woodson was one of the USA Today All-American selection and Parade High School All-American, recording 2,028 yards and 230 points.
Woodson enrolled at the University of Michigan, where he became a football legend.
In his junior season, Woodson broke various records and won several accolades, including the prestigious Heisman Trophy.
Woodson became the third Michigan player in program history to win the trophy.
Following his spectacular junior season, Woodson decided to forego his remaining college eligibility and declared for the NFL Draft.
The Oakland Raiders drafted Woodson as the fourth overall pick. He won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, recording 64 tackles.
He played eight seasons with the Raiders before moving to the Green Bay Packers to revive his career.
Woodson won his first and only Super Bowl title with the Packers. Woodson returned to the Raiders in 2013 and retired after the 2015 season.
Since his retirement, Woodson has focused on his Woodson Whiskey brand and is part of the FOX NFL team.

When the NFL legend was with the Packers, Charles Woodson and April Woodson tied the knot on November 18, 2009.
In an interview with ESPN, Woodson’s former head coach, Jon Gruden, talked about his career and married life.
The coach said Woodson’s move to the Packers came at the right time. The environment at the Packers helped him settle down and marry the right woman.
Though her Instagram was previously public, April has now made it private. On her Instagram bio, April has mentioned she is a Thyroid Cancer survivor and is currently a Flexitarian– someone primarily on a vegetarian diet.
Previously, on Instagram, April shared a picture of her and the former NFL player on their 12th marriage anniversary in November 2021.
The former football star also shared an anniversary post in November 2022.
Woodson and April share two sons, and the tight-knit family of four often spends quality time away from their monotonous lives.
On August 5, 2023, Charles shared a short clip of him, April, and their two kids enjoying holidays at Lake Tahoe.
Woodson constantly shares appreciation posts for his wife. On Mother’s Day 2023, he shared a photo video and captioned the post with a sweet message, writing he is grateful for having April.

In July 2023, Charles took his son to the University of Michigan, and they had a photoshoot with Woodson Jr., who was donning the Michigan jersey.
Speaking to Max Preps, Woodson said it was cool to have his son tour the campus and the iconic training camp Schembechler Hall.
Charles Woodson’s second and youngest child, Chase Woodson, was born on October 23, 2010.
On his son’s 12th birthday, Charles shared a gallery of images, including them playing baseball. Like his older brother, Chase has also shown interest in football.
