NFL Star Malik Nabers and His Six Siblings Were Raised by His Single Mother!

The New York Giants’ wide receiver, Malik Nabers, has six siblings, i.e., five sisters and a younger brother named Dillon.

However, little to no information is available about his siblings, as they maintain a private life away from media scrutiny.

While their names and personal details aren’t known, Malik has spoken fondly of his siblings.

For example, during his high school years at Comeaux High School, Malik faced a tough moment when a transfer waiver was denied.

He has said that his younger brother, Dillon, was a big reason he stayed motivated during that time. He pushed him to keep working toward his goals.

Malik also mentioned his siblings when he was drafted by the Giants in 2024. He is vocal about how much his family means to him.

Above all, it was Malik’s mother, Tonya Nabers, who single-handedly raised all seven children on her own in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Tonya worked as a hospice revenue specialist to make ends meet.

That said, raising seven children alone was not easy. Tonya faced numerous challenges, including long work hours and the responsibility of supporting her family.

Despite these struggles, she did her best to provide a sound life for her family.

When Malik was about 8, Tonya saw that he was talented in football, basketball, and baseball. He told her, “Mama, I’m going to play in the NFL one day.”

She asked if he’d work hard, and he said, “Yes ma’am.” To which Tonya replied,

Alright! I’ll do whatever I can to help you.

As a nervous parent, she attended as many of his games as possible to ensure he was okay.

At LSU, where Malik set a record with 3,003 receiving yards, Tonya felt the community was like family.

In September 2023, she told Louisiana vs. All Ya’ll, “It felt like home from the beginning.”

Tonya expressed her pride in LSU Odyssey in October 2023, saying:

I’m truly happy for him. I pinch myself and say, ‘That’s my son!’

For all the sacrifices Tonya has made, Malik is nothing but grateful. In interviews, he described her as his biggest supporter.

To make her feel special, Malik bought a house for Tonya after signing his NFL contract in 2024.

He wanted to give her a stable and comfortable home and life as a way to express his gratitude for everything she had done.

In May 2024, Malik said about buying a home for his mother, saying:

That was the most important thing in my life, I would say, is having her have her own house and feel comfortable and not having to worry about bills to pay. And know that her little boy did it for her.
