The accuser in the Shannon Sharpe sexual assault lawsuit, previously listed as “Jane Doe” in court documents to protect her identity, has been identified as Gabriella “Gabbi” Zuniga.
Gabriella Zuniga, often referred to as “Gabbi” or “Gabi”, is an alleged 20-year-old OnlyFans creator who has made headlines for filing a high-stakes $50 million lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe.
Formerly referred to as Jane Doe to protect her identity, Gabriella “Gabbi” Zuniga was identified by Lanny J. Davis, the attorney representing Sharpe.
According to Sharpe’s legal team, Gabbi operates under the name “Karli” and is available on Instagram under the name “@sheiskarli“, with over 500K followers as of April 23, 2025.
Her Instagram page, filled with bikini photos and lingerie shoots, links to her OnlyFans account, where she charges $12.99 monthly for a VIP subscription.
Speaking of their relationship timeline, the then 19-year-old Gabbi met Sharpe at a gym in Los Angeles in 2023. Their relationship started then, but she says it later became toxic and abusive.
Gabbi’s lawsuit, filed on April 20, 2025, in Nevada with lawyer Tony Buzbee’s help, accuses Sharpe of sexual assault, battery, and emotional distress during their nearly two-year relationship, which she claims became abusive.
According to the 13-page complaint, the relationship, initially consensual, became “controlling” and “abusive” over time.
She claims he sexually assaulted her twice, once in October 2024 and again in January 2025, ignoring her when she said no.
Gabbi also claimed Sharpe recorded their private moments without her consent and shared them with others.
The lawsuit claims Sharpe was controlling, wanting full control over Gabbi’s time and body, and once threatened to kill her for sharing her iPhone location.
Gabbi Zuniga Seeks $50 Million in Lawsuit Against Shannon Sharpe Amid Abuse Allegations and Settlement Dispute!
Gabbi is now asking for over $50 million, a huge amount that matches reports of Sharpe’s reported $100 million podcast deals for shows like Club Shay Shay and Nightcap.
Whereas Buzbee, best known for working on cases against big names like Sean “Diddy” Combs and Deshaun Watson, has expressed his pride in helping Gabbi to stand up to Sharpe.
Sharpe and his lawyer, Lanny Davis, denied the accusations, saying they were false. They called the lawsuit a plan to get her hands on millions of dollars from Sharpe.
In a fiery response, Sharpe’s team shared a series of private text messages allegedly sent by Gabbi, which include sexual talk and requests for money.
They shared private text messages they say are from Gabbi, which include sexual talk and requests for money, like one message asking for $25,000.
Sharpe’s team says these texts show their relationship was consensual and that Gabbi even suggested role-playing ideas.
They also claim Gabbi recorded a video of them together and is using an edited version to make Sharpe look bad.
Sharpe’s lawyer, Lanny J. Davis, said in a press conference on April 22, 2025, that Gabbi asked for millions to settle before filing the lawsuit, and Sharpe also tried to resolve things with Gabbo in recent weeks by offering her at least $10 million.
However, on April 20, 2025, Gabbi turned down this offer and filed a lawsuit for $50 million against him in Nevada. Sharpe is now planning to sue Gabbi and Buzbee for lying about him.
It’s unclear if Zuniga had asked for $10 million in the first place or if this was the amount Sharpe’s side suggested to settle, but she refused.
Likewise, on April 22, 2025, Buzbee shared an audio clip allegedly featuring Sharpe threatening to choke Gabbi, which she claims supports her allegations of abuse.
However, Sharpe’s team tackled the audio, saying it is taken out of context. They said it aligns with the role-playing dynamic described in the text messages and fits their consensual relationship.
