Steve Smith Sr., a former NFL player and current NFL Network analyst, has faced backlash from netizens since February 2025 after being accused of cheating by a social media user.
The former Baltimore Ravens star, Steve Smith, was accused of having an affair with Nicole Martinez, the wife of Tony Martinez, in since-deleted posts on X.
Tony Martinez claimed that Smith had been having an inappropriate relationship with his wife, who is a member of the Marching Ravens, the Baltimore Ravens marching band.

The woman's husband got a hold of explicit text messages between his wife and Smith, as well as a video of Smith saying "I'm sorry."

Tony revealed the alleged affair between Steve and Nicole on his now-deleted account @Lambeaughini on February 22, 2025.
Furthermore, Tony mentioned that Steve Smith met his wife Nicole while playing for the Ravens, and she was a member of the Marching Ravens. Since then, they have been involved in an affair.
The account shared multiple screenshots of explicit text messages allegedly exchanged between Smith and Tony’s wife.
Along with several screenshots of explicit messages, the man posted a video on the account which shows him allegedly calling Smith.
The person recording the video accused the man on the other end of the phone call of being Steve Smith.

When he asked, “What do you have to say for yourself?” there was a brief pause before the voice on the other end replied, “Sorry,” and then hung up the call.
Although Steve Smith hasn’t publicly commented on the affair allegations, netizens are trolling and criticizing him for cheating on his longtime wife.

Steve Smith Sr. married his college sweetheart, Angie Smith, in 2000 while both were still attending the University of Utah, and they have remained together ever since.
The couple first met through a mutual friend in college. Steve asked for her phone number on the way to class one morning.
In an interview, Angie recalled their first meeting and stated:
“He seemed really genuine to me. He was kind of quite what he said was I want to get to know you and pick your brain that was different to me.”
