Treylon Burks, 25, a professional footballer wide receiver, was raised by his mother, Sha’Freda Strickland, in Warren, Arkansas. His biological father has not yet been disclosed.
Altogether Sha’Freda reportedly has four childrens, including Treylon: Jayla Strickland, Jade Watson, and Braylen Watson.

The 6-foot-2 wide receiver also received significant support from his grandparents, Joe and Freda Burks, from his childhood, and has chosen to use their last name.
Joe, who is believed to be a lifelong Arkansas Razorback fan, unfortunately didn’t see Treylon play for the team.
Treylon played his College Career for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2019 to 2021, appearing in 32 games.
Treylon’s Time At Titans Is Up
After an outstanding University football career, he was drafted 18th overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2022 NFL Draft and even signed his rookie contract just weeks later.
Unfortunately, the NFL professional hasn’t lived up to the expectations, having just 27 starts for the team. A.J. Brown was even traded to the Philadelphia Eagles to draft him.
His career has been marred by several injuries in the past, including bone bruises, hamstring strains, and ACL injury.
The WR had lately fractured his collarbone during training; as a result, the Titans have waived/injured him.
Other teams have 24 hours to claim him, or he will return to the injured list. The WR will still have a couple of days to negotiate, but will likely be a free agent.
In Case You Didn’t Know
- Burks just scored one touchdown in three years with the Tennessee Titans.
- Though expectations with the WR were high, he never had a 500-yard season. The best was 444, which he achieved in his rookie year.
- The WR is happily married to Shelby Burks Pearlman. They tied the knot in 2023 and also have a daughter together.
