Jack Eichel, the Vegas Night’s alternate Captain’s only sibling, was a former multi-sport athlete at Merrimack College.

Born on April 26, 1993, Jessie Anne Eichel played basketball and hockey growing up, and also competed at Merrimack College, but she truly excelled at Rowing.

While being in the Women’s Rowing Roster, she helped her team go undefeated in the inaugural season as a Sophomore. She also competed for the Essex Rowing.

She graduated from Merrimack College in 2015 with a degree in Education/Human Development.

Jessie’s True Potential was in Rowing

In the 2013-14 season, Jessie Eichel helped the short-handed Varsity 8 squad win the NE-10 Championship title (4/26), two years in a row, with a time of 7:32.

Just before a month of the title-decider, at the Knecht Cup Regatta (4/13), she stroked Merrimack’s “B” boat to a sixth-place finish, crossing in 8:31.31.

The Clemford High School alumnus now enjoys watching sports rather than playing them, and regularly supports her brother, Jack, during the NHL games.

Jessie has been married to her long-time boyfriend, Johnny Ray, for over seven years. The couple is blessed with a baby boy.

Johnny, unsurprisingly, is a huge sports fan too, who supports all Boston Sports teams, whether it be Football, Basketball, Baseball, or Hockey.

He is a proud alumnus of the University of Massachusetts and currently works as an IT professional.

Jessie has always been family-oriented and is very close to her brother Jack and her father.

She, along with her husband, has supported Jack Eichel from his NCCA days at Boston University to cheering him to win the Stanley Cup for the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023.

Jessie is also a truly family-oriented woman who always takes the time to wish her family, whether it’s someone’s birthday, anniversary, ceremony, or any other special event.
