Nick Sanchez Parents: Mother Shanie Rosen And Father Rene
Nick was born to his parents, Shanie Rosen and Rene Sanchez, on June 10, 2001, in Miami, Florida.
Sanchez’s parents are immigrants who left Cuba in 1980, hoping to create a better life for themselves in the United States.
After arriving in Miami, the family settled down, and it was there that Nick came into this world.
Interestingly, Nick’s father, who had experienced the mass exodus from Cuba, had no interest in racing.
He started working in the construction industry at a young age and eventually owned his own business.
Despite this, young Nick’s fascination with motorsports grew as he attended his first race at Homestead-Miami Speedway when he was five and began thinking about his life in race.
However, Nick’s father initially preferred that he stick to more conventional sports like football.
It wasn’t until Nick was 12 that he convinced his father to allow him to pursue his dream of racing.
Despite the lack of support for his racing interest, Nick remained determined and focused on his goal.
He worked hard and overcame the hurdles that lay in his path. His passion for racing led him to success, and he continues to follow his dreams, pushing himself to be the best he can be.
Nick’s Father Rene Got Suspended For Two Season
During the closing laps of a NASCAR race on October 1, 2023, Nick Sanchez and fellow driver Matt Crafton made contact, resulting in a 14-truck wreck. C
Crafton then drove his truck into Sanchez’s pit stall, leading to a heated exchange with Sanchez’s team.
During the argument, Crafton punched Sanchez in the face. Enraged, Sanchez threatened to retaliate against Crafton in the next race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, further fueling their rivalry.
Both drivers were fined by NASCAR for their roles in the altercation, with Crafton receiving a $25,000 fine and Sanchez receiving a $5,000 fine.
However, neither of them faced suspension. Rene Sanchez, Nick’s father, was also involved in the post-race altercation and faced suspension for the remaining two races of the season.
