Taylor (fully named Christopher Armand Taylor Jr.) was born on August 29, 1990, under the star sign Virgo in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is the eldest and the only son of his parents, Mary Taylor and Chris Taylor Sr.
Before joining baseball, Chris Taylor was involved in wrestling. During high school, he joined the baseball team.
