Norco High School Varsity Soccer Player Reese Carter Died, Leaving Parents and Two Siblings Heartbroken!

A young varsity soccer player from Norco, California, Reese Olivia Carter, passed away on January 10, 2026.

However, so far, the details surrounding her sudden demise remain concealed as her family is grieving in private.

Reese Carter is survived by her parents, father, mother, Sarah Carter, and two younger siblings: a sister and a brother.

She was a bright person who made everyone feel at home.

Reese Carter was a freshman at Norco High School in California and was a member of the class of 2029. She played two varsity sports, i.e., varsity soccer and varsity flag football.

She wore number 7 for the JV soccer team, where she lined up as a forward and midfielder. On the varsity flag football side, she went by number 66.

Back in September 2025, she first got added to the flag football roster, and then a few months later, in December, she made the soccer roster too. Her first real game action came on September 24 against Fairmont Prep.

Her sudden demise came as a big shock to her loved ones. Several friends and loved ones shared words of condolence on social media.

Maddie, one of her friends and teammates, wrote:

This soccer team will never be the same without you. You brought passion, laughter, and strength into our team every day. We promise to play for you, fight for you, and remember you always. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten. #15

Thus far, details surrounding Reese’s funeral and memorial haven’t been shared by her family.

During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Reese’s family, friends, teammates, and extended family.
