A former soccer player, Landon Donovan, has married twice. Before tying the knot with businesswoman Hannah Bartell, he had a short-lived marriage with his first wife, actress Bianca Kajlich.

A product of IMG Academy, Landon Timothy Donovan began his professional career at Bayer Leverkusen before spending much of his early years on loan to the San Jose Earthquakes.

He later joined the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2005, becoming a key player and winning an impressive six MLS Cups.

During his career, Donovan also had brief stints with Bayern Munich, Everton, and León. He retired in 2014 but made brief comebacks in 2016 and 2018.

He holds the MLS all-time assists record with 136 and was honored by having the league’s MVP Award renamed in his honor.

In May 2015, Donovan married Hannah Bartell, a successful businesswoman and heir to the Bartell Hotels fortune in San Diego, California.

The Bartell family owns and operates several prominent properties, including Humphreys Half Moon Inn and Pacific Terrace Hotel, known for their luxury accommodations.

Hannah, who graduated from Boston University with a degree in hospitality management, initially worked for Marriott in Boston and Los Angeles before returning to the family business.

Hannah and Landon met in 2013 while she was working in Los Angeles.

The couple quickly became inseparable, engaged in 2015, and married the same year.

Hannah and Landon have three children: their son, Talon, born in January 2016, and their second son, Slate, born in June 2017.

The couple welcomed their third child, a daughter named Raven Bartell Donovan, in late 2018.

Donovan’s wife, Hannah Bartell, is a private person who rarely appears on his social media.

The family resides in San Diego, where Landon became a co-founder of the San Diego Loyal SC soccer team in 2020, further strengthening their ties to the city.

Landon is also involved in local philanthropy, volunteering at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

Before marrying Hannah, Donovan was previously married to actress Bianca Kajlich in 2006. The couple separated in 2009 and divorced in 2010.

Despite their separation, they have maintained a friendly relationship. Bianca has since remarried radio personality Michael Catherwood, and they have a daughter together.
