Onguchi Onyewu Wife, Salome Khorasanchi

Onguchi Onyewu is claimed to be married to Iranian model Salome Khorasanchi. According to some sources, the couple has an age difference of 25 years.

Salome was born in Tehran, Iran, but has been living in Belgium for more than 20 years.

She has already been featured in many fashion magazines. According to various sources, she does work as a wedding planner and helps her family in their glass business.

In addition to that, Salome and her family are committed to helping underprivileged girls in Iran with their education. The family of Khorasanchi is very faithful to their religion, so their family is always together.

There is very little information about the relationship between the soccer player and the model.

Even Oguchi has not posted any picture of Salome on his Instagram, which is quite suspicious.

Onyewu Faced Racism

During his time in Belgium, Onyewu experienced racism and was even attacked and yelled at by racist fans while playing for Standard Liège. This major incident happened during the 2008-09 championship playoffs.

Anderlecht defender Jelle Van Damme allegedly repeatedly called Onyewu a “dirty ape,” even after Onyewu informed the referees. However, Jelle denied the fact that he made a racist comment.

After that, the player even took legal action against Jelle for allegedly racially insulting him during a match.

The defender explained that it is not about Van Damme being racist. It is about the problem of racism that the people had to face during the game. The player even mentioned that people use it, knowing how much a word can hurt someone.

Moreover, he showed his dissatisfaction with the referee for not stopping the game even after he informed him of the comment he received. After that incident, Onyewu decided not to be on the pitch. However, Oguchi’s friends and teammates convinced him not to quit.
