Ohio State Reporter Austin Ward And His Wife’s Daughter Share A Name With Cody Rhodes’ Little Girl

An updated lawsuit claims that Ohio State reporters Austin Ward and Jeremy Birmingham mismanaged podcast funds and admitted to taking money meant for players’ paid appearances.

Austin Ward is known for covering sports and addressing the controversy surrounding him, but he doesn’t often open up about his personal life. He keeps that side of things pretty private.

So, when he posted a picture of his wife and daughter in 2023, it surprised many people. Some even reacted with, “Damn bro, you actually have a wife?”

Well, regarding the controversy, Austin and Birmingham were fired by their former employer, THE Media, on March 31.

Early rumors on social media and message boards suggested the pair had mishandled advertising money, which Ward denied.

However, a recent court filing uncovered by The Rooster’s D.J. Byrnes reveals more serious details and evidence supporting those claims.

People have expressed their disappointment, saying,

So sad—I listened to the podcast every day, and it turns out you’re just a scammer.”

Austin Ward Shares Glimpses Of Family Life While Keeping Personal Details Private, Including Daughter’s Bold Predictions Debut

In 2018, Austin Ward mentioned that he and his wife moved back to her hometown while working at ESPN.

He talked about how he was there to cover Ohio State and follow every move Meyer made as he worked to bring the program back to success.

Austin Ward occasionally shares pictures of his wife and daughter, like when they go on weekend getaways, attend games, or celebrate Christmas together.

He has kept his personal life private, including not publicly sharing his wife’s name.

Interestingly, his daughter shares the same name, Liberty, as Cody Rhodes’ daughter.

Austin’s daughter is also a big fan of Cody Rhodes, which adds a fun connection between their families.

Liberty also gets into action by making predictions. After using FutureFansSports to learn more about football, she was pumped to make her Bold Predictions debut, showing off her skills and getting involved like the pros.

He and his wife enjoy spending quality time with their daughter and often show how much they cherish those moments.
