On the other hand, James Kraft emigrated to the United States from Canada in 1902 and established J.L. Kraft & Bros. Company, a wholesale cheese distribution business in 1903.

Robert Kenneth Kraft, the son of Sarah Bryna (Webber) and Harry Kraft, was born on June 5, 1941, in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Robert was raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish household in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Harry Kraft was a dress manufacturer in Boston’s Chinatown and a lay leader at Congregation Kehillath Israel. He wanted his son to become a rabbi.
Robert met Myra Nathalie Hiatt at a delicatessen in Boston’s Back Bay in 1962, and they married in June 1963. She was the daughter of Worcester businessman and philanthropist Jacob Hiatt.
They had four sons, Jonathan, Daniel, Joshua, and David Kraft, who have all been involved in the family’s business and charitable endeavors.
Sadly, Myra passed away due to ovarian cancer at 68.
After Myra’s death, Robert found love again. He began dating a New York City-based ophthalmologist, Dana Blumberg, in 2017. They married in October 2022.

The Family Lineage of James L. Kraft
James Lewis Kraft, the son of Minerva Alice and George Franklin Krafft, was born on December 11, 1874, near Stevensville, Ontario, Canada.
He came from a large and enterprising family.
James was the second of the eleven children.
George Franklin, a farmer of German descent, was born in 1842 and passed away in 1914. Similarly, Minerva Alice was born in 1848 and died in 1933.
The Kraft family shared their talent for business.
Several of James’s brothers, Charles Herbert, Frederick, Norman, and John Henry, joined him as executives in the growing Kraft Foods empire.
Furthermore, James started his own family with his wife, Pauline, and had a daughter, Edith. Edith was born in 1916 and passed away in 2012.
