Quarterback Jaxson Dart is a devoted brother to his two younger sisters, one of whom faced health struggles during childhood.
Jaxson Chase Dart was born May 13, 2003, in Kaysville, Utah, as the oldest of five siblings, including brother Diesel (a high school football player) and two younger sisters.
He comes from an athletic family, with his parents, including his father, Brandon Dart, who played safety at the University of Utah and now runs a business.
Whereas his mother, Kara Dart, was a high school track and volleyball player, and a two-time all-state basketball player, she worked at Nordstrom.
Currently, she runs a fitness program after overcoming a 2019 foot injury.

Though Jaxson doesn’t often speak publicly about his sister’s health, it’s clear she holds a special place in his heart.
Although he doesn’t talk much about his sisters, there are very few instances when he has spoken of them.
In an April 2025 interview with FLYING Magazine, he opened up about a tough time when one of his sisters was young and faced health problems.
He revealed that she spent a lot of time at Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah, saying:
My little sister had some health issues when she was younger, and my parents spent a lot of time in Primary Children’s Hospital.

He said it “hits close to home” and inspired him to join NICHOLAS AIR’s “Stuff the Plane” program, where he delivered teddy bears to kids in the same hospital.
Doing so, Dart felt grateful to help families going through what he did.
So far, he hasn’t shared any updates about her health in the public.
Then, in May 2025, during a Giants minicamp press conference, Dart shared a lighter story about borrowing a heart-shaped diamond necklace from one of his sisters before the 2024 Gator Bowl.
He told reporters he saw it in her room, thought it looked cool, and wore it for good luck or a lucky charm during Ole Miss’s big win.
Since then, he’s kept wearing it, calling it his “good luck charm.”
