Jurnee Tyra is only a freshman at Justin Garza High School in Fresno, but she’s already making noise on the volleyball court.
She plays outside hitter and wears number 1 for the varsity team.
In 97 sets this season, Jurnee has racked up 266 kills, 218 digs, and 41 assists. She’s been named Player of the Match 11 times, including a standout game on October 20, 2025.
On October 30, 2025, she reflected on her game this season, writing:
