American college basketball player Otega Oweh has two older brothers, Odafe and Irekefe Kaylen Oweh. Odafe plays for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.
Otega Oweh was born on June 21, 2003, in Union, New Jersey, as the youngest child of his parents, Tania and Henry Oweh.
His parents are from Nigeria, and they immigrated to the US for better educational opportunities and a better life for Otega and his three older siblings.
Otega grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball in the street and backyard of the house with his two older brothers, Odafe and Kaylen Oweh.
Being the youngest of the family, Otega had to prove that he could hang out with the older guys and compete, showing that he was not just a little brother trying to be included. With KyKernel, Odafe says,
He would just watch what I would do, or what Kaylen would do and just try to emulate everything to be better.

With the passion for the game and motivation from his older brothers, Otega Oweh now plays college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He previously played for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Odafe Jayson Oweh, who played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2018 to 2020, is the older brother of Otega Oweh.
In the first round of the 2021 NFL draft, Odafe was selected by the Baltimore Ravens. Now, he plays as a Linebacker for the Ravens.
Odafe, the older brother, has always been the source of inspiration and a role model for Otega. He often mentions that it is really inspiring.

Furthermore, Odafe Oweh played football as a kid but later switched to basketball. However, as soon as his football measurables were released, he pursued a career in the sport.
While Odafe went into football, Otega fell in love with basketball and followed in his brother’s footsteps, embracing dedication and motivation. Otega mentions,
“He just really pushed me. He’s 5 years older than me so he’s at where I was trying to get to so just at each level I was going to he just made sure I worked hard and just challenged me

Otega Oweh’s Brother, Irekefe Kaylen Oweh, Is A College Football Player
Irekefe Kaylen, the older brother of Otega Oweh, is also an incredible athlete. He played basketball in his high school, Rutgers Preparatory School.
He was the team captain as a senior and was a First Team All-Conference selection. Similarly, he attended Division II St. Thomas Auians College in 2020-21.

Furthermore, he appeared in two games as a reserve for the Nittany Lions and then attended Penn State University from 2021 to 2022. He played his senior year for Monmouth University.
